The Indian Doctors Association promotes health education in the Houston community and does this by providing college scholarships to Houston area high school seniors. Each year, the IDA gives several scholarships in the amount of $2500 each based on a student's academic performance as well as his/her extracurricular activities and community service.  

Applications for 2019 are now being accepted.   Click here to access the application.   Please remember to send your high school transcript and essay to [email protected] upon completion of your application.  Deadline is February 25th. 

Your application will not be reviewed if all elements (application, high school transcript and essay) are not received. 

Essay Prompt:  a brief, one page essay (max. 500 words) which should include your future plans and why IDA should award the scholarship to the applicant.
