Dear Friends,

It is my great pleasure to welcome each and every one of you to a new and exciting IDA 2007-2008. Over the years, many of you have expressed different opinions on how our organization can better interact with various local agencies such as our community, resident/medical students and the Indian Doctors Charity Clinic operating in our area.

These type of interactions have benefited us all in many ways as we have so much to offer and the benefits clearly outweighs the efforts required to promote these type of activities. In order to achieve this on a larger scale we desire our memberships to grow in the association and I urge all of you to introduce more of your friends and colleagues to join the IDA, thus allowing us to continue to interact with local professionals by networking and contributing education in the business of medicine.

We are extremely fortunate to have such an enthusiastic and dedicated group of Doctors in our area such as yourself. I hope that the interaction between the regional, state and local societies and the University training programs will flourish in the positive and forward fashion.

My goals for the year are as follow:

1. * IMPROVE BY-LAWS AND SHAPING IDA-PAC

2. * UPDATE IDA WEBSITE

3. * INCREASE MEMBERSHIP

4. * MAKING ALL EVENTS INTERESTING AND INTERACTIVE

You as a member are the heart and soul of our organization, together we can achieve a great deal. Our committee of this year is a dynamic and fully supercharged one that is excited to celebrate the following events as listed at the bottom of this page.
