Dr. Thomas is a native of Houston who graduated from Rice University cum laude. He then attended UT-Southwestern Medical School, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Thomas then completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at UTMB-Galveston before pursuing a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Methodist Sports Medicine Center in Indianapolis. While in Indianapolis, Dr. Thomas learned advanced techniques in treatment of knee, shoulder, and elbow injuries. During that time, he also assisted in the care of local high schools, colleges, and the Indianapolis Colts. Dr. Thomas is a part of the Southwest Bone and Joint Clinic, where he sees patients with any general orthopaedic problem.
